We provide complete turnkey solutions for solar panel recycling plants.

Waste PV Module Recycling & Professional Solar Panel Recycling Equipment Solution

With the rapid expansion of the global photovoltaic industry, a wave of decommissioned solar panels is coming. In the near future, the disposal of waste photovoltaic modules, especially crystalline silicon PV modules, will become a critical environmental challenge for countries worldwide.

Waste PV modules mainly include defective panels generated during manufacturing, damaged modules in transportation and installation, and end-of-life panels retired from solar farms and end users. Among all recyclable PV waste, crystalline silicon modules account for 90%, followed by CdTe, CIS and CIGS thin-film photovoltaic modules.

Many countries have established relevant regulations and recycling technologies in advance. The European Union has included PV modules in the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive. Third-party recycling organizations such as PV CYCLE and CERES cycle were founded to help PV manufacturers and importers fulfill extended producer responsibility and manage end-of-life solar panels.

Since 1997, experts from the United States, Japan, South Korea, Poland, Switzerland and other regions have explored PV recycling technologies. Research teams in China, such as the Solar Energy Research Institute of Sun Yat-sen University, have also carried out in-depth studies. These research results provide valuable references for building global PV recycling systems.

Based on mature industrial recycling processes, crystalline silicon PV modules go through aluminum frame and junction box removal, followed by crushing, thermal treatment or physical separation. Valuable materials including iron, non-ferrous metals, glass and plastic granules can be extracted. Over 80% of the total weight can be recycled and reused. The recovery rate of aluminum frame reaches 100%, glass nearly 100%, copper 85% and silicon wafers 62%. For CdTe and CIGS thin-film modules, more than 90% glass and over 95% semiconductor materials can be recovered.

Recycling waste PV modules effectively reduces environmental pollution risks and improves raw material utilization. Recovered glass, aluminum, silicon and copper can re-enter the supply chain, cutting the demand for virgin mineral resources and building a green circular economy for the PV sector.

We are a professional manufacturer of waste solar panel recycling equipment. We focus on the R&D and production of complete recycling lines for crystalline silicon PV modules. Our full-line equipment covers frame stripping, junction box removing, multi-stage crushing, material sorting and dust collection. Adopting dry physical separation technology, our machines achieve efficient separation and recovery of glass, aluminum, silicon, copper and plastic.

✅ Feedstock: End-of-life crystalline silicon panels, production rejects & damaged PV modules
✅ Advantages: High material recovery rate, low energy consumption, enclosed dust removal, automatic continuous operation
✅ Flexible solutions: Standalone machines, modular lines and turnkey recycling plants are available, suitable for small workshops and large industrial projects.

For global partners, we supply one-stop services including equipment manufacturing, process design, on-site installation, commissioning and technical training. We help overseas customers comply with local environmental regulations such as the EU WEEE Directive, seize opportunities in the fast-growing PV recycling market and gain profits from photovoltaic waste resource recovery.
